An appeal has been launched to reunite a poor abandoned rabbit shivering in a ditch in Ewell with its owner.
An eagle-eyed resident came across it while out for a walk along Longmead Road near the industrial estate yesterday (Thursday, November 10).
The pink rabbit – actually a discarded bright pink sex toy – is lying in the ditch. It is unknown how long it has been there.
The resident, who understandably wished to remain anonymous, said: “Poor rabbit, stuck in a damp crevice.
“It needs to be back in its warren before the weather gets too cold.
“It just proved too slippery to catch.”
