A man was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and burns after converted flats in Croydon caught fire.
Four fire engines from Croydon, Norbury and Woodside stations and 21 firefighters were called to the fire in Saint James' Park at 1.32am this morning.
Three men, a woman and a child had left the property before firefighters arrived.
The man suffering from burns was taken to hospital by paramedics from London Ambulance Service.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
