Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was left fighting for his life following a shooting in Thornton Heath.
Officers were called to the Function Rooms, in Brigstock Parade, London Road, Thornton Heath at about 5am on Sunday, November 27 to reports of a large fight.
A large number of people were present but no injured party was identified at that time.
A short while later, police received a call to a south London hospital after a 28-year-old man presented himself with a gunshot injury.
He remains in a critical condition.
Police believe the male sustained his injuries during the incident at the Function Rooms.
No arrests have been made.
Detective Inspector Edward Facer who leads the investigation said: "A man is in hospital fighting for his life following this incident at the weekend.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was at the Function Rooms on the night of 26/27 November and witnessed an altercation inside the venue."
