Newman entered a not guilty plea at the Old Bailey yesterday before a jury was sworn in.

The trial, which is expected to last between two and three weeks, was adjourned until 2pm today.

Mr Wilson, known to friends as Tiny Sneaky, died of a single stab wound to the heart following a fight outside the pizza shop on March 17.

Newman was arrested in June but was not named until recently because of his age.

Since Mr Wilson's death many prominent members of the south London grime and rap scene, including Thornton Heath artists Stormzy and Section Boyz, have paid tribute online.
