Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after Akeem Moore was shot in the head in Croydon last year.
Police, the London Ambulance Service and firearms officers were called to reports of a man suffering a gunshot injury in Eastney Road at 11.25pm on Friday, October 7.
Mr Moore, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as gunshot injuries to the head.
A 36-year-old man was arrested today, Tuesday, January 24, on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm and peverting the course of justice.
He is currently in custody at a south London police station.
A murder investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Lee Watling of the homicide and major crime command.
