Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager who may have made a 40-mile trip to Croydon.
Sharna Read, 16, was last seen on Friday, February 10 before she was reported to have disappeared from the Luton area.
Officers believe she may have since travelled to East Croydon.
A spokesman for Bedfordshire Police said: “Sharna is described as 5 ft 7 inches, slim build with long black hair and brown eyes.
“She was last seen wearing a blue tracksuit jacket, black leggings and pink trainers.
“Officers are growing concerned for her welfare and are appealing for anyone who believes they may have seen her to get in touch.”
Anyone who believes they may have seen Miss Read, or has any information as to her whereabouts, is urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 220 of the 10 February 2017.
