Metropolitan Police officers kicked in Croydon grime star Stormzy's front door and mistook him for a burglar, the rapper has claimed.
The Thornton Heath star this morning Tweeted a picture of his front door, explaining that he woke up to find officers attempting to break it down.
He wrote: “Woke up to Feds destroying my front door coz apparently I’m a burglar who burgles his own home.
“@metpoliceuk need your bank details still.”

Fans of the star have taken to social media to show their outrage.
One Twitter user, Ashley Verse, wrote: “They’re [the police] gonna give you one dead piece of wood door. Make man’s yard look like a big shed.”
Others described the situation as “absolute madness” and referred to the police as “class A clowns.”
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for comment.
The Croydon-born rapper announced on Monday, February 13 that his UK tour had sold out in four days.
Stormzy, real name Michael Omari, added more events to his 17-date gig after his show in Brixton sold out in four minutes.
He is set to release his debut album ‘Gang Signs and Prayer’ at the end of this month.
