Police are hunting a man they suspect sexually assaulted a teenage girl at a bus stop in Croydon.
The 17-year-old was waiting at a bus stop near Galpins Road, Thornton Heath, when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.
The victim pushed the suspect away and watched him walk off along London Road at about 8.25pm on August 8 last year.
Metropolitan Police officers have today released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
A Met spokeswoman said: “The suspect is described as a male of Asian appearance, aged in his 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall with dark hair.
“He was wearing a checked shirt, white jeans, black trainers, a black cap and was carrying a rucksack.
“Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command investigate.”
No arrests have been made.
