The brother of a missing Croydon musician who has been missing for almost three weeks has launched a heart-warming appeal to find him.
Jeremy Dodds, 54, the eldest of five brothers who grew up in South Norwood, was last seen by his social worker on Friday, February 17.
Mr Dodds is known to frequent Croydon Voluntary Action Resource Centre, in London road, and regularly plays live music at The Edge, in South End.
His brother Bernard Dodds, 50, who now lives in Brighton, said Mr Dodds has lost his phone and will have no way of contacting his family.
Bernard said: “Jeremy is not the sort of person who would want to just leave any not speak to us. We know he has lost his phone and wouldn’t have any of our numbers.
“I just want to say, on behalf of all of us, that if you’re in any kind of trouble – it doesn’t matter. We’re all worried, so please get in touch.”
He added: “Jeremy is well known in the area. You would know if you spoke to him.
“He always use to play live rock music at the The Edge, and goes to the Croydon voluntary action centre.
“Jeremy is a lovely, kind-natured man – which sometimes goes against him. I just want to say: please, please help us find him.”
The Missing People Charity is asking for him to let them know he is safe.
An appeal posted on its website reads: “Jeremy we are here for you whenever you are ready; we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe.
“Call. Text. Anytime. Free. Confidential. 116000.”
Anyone with information can contact the 116000 number or call police on 101.
