Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers battled a flat fire in Norbury.
Part of a third floor flat in London Road was damaged by the blaze.
A woman left the property before the Brigade arrived and was assessed by London Ambulance Service crews.

The Brigade was called at 6.29pm and the fire was under control by 7.13pm on Thursday evening.
Fire crews from Norbury, West Norwood, Croydon and Tooting fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
