A celebrity florist has impressed with a bespoke Mediterranean inspired flower dress to celebrate the RHS Chelsea flower show.

The luxury floral designer, Larry Walshe, used over 1,300 flowers to create the dress which included; spray roses, delphinium flowers and hyacinth florets.

Larry Walshe is a Croydon based designer and has been producing beautiful and memorable flower displays for Royal households, as well as hundreds of brides and grooms for many years.

The dress was commissioned by M&G Investments, to attract people to their highly-anticipated M&G garden and to celebrate their eight year as title sponsor for the RHS Chelsea flower show.

In previous years, Larry has been commissioned to create a 1930s-inspired flower dress and celebrated a new season of fragrance this year by constructing a map of 2,000 fresh flowers in Heathrow terminal 5.

The dress brought a flush of colour to the Royal Hospital Chelsea where it was showcased alongside Chelsea pensioners Skippy Teasdale and Gillian McDonald.

The flower show begins next week and is set to inspire thousands of people through showing people the wonder and beauty of garden design.
