The football season may have come to an end but there is still fun ahead at Selhurst Park with 200 reasons to feel glad all over.

The popular Crystal Palace Beer Festival returns for its seventh edition at the home of the Eagles from noon to 8pm on Saturday (May 27).

This year, the line-up features 150 beers and 50 ciders, including from Croydon brewery The Cronx, which was started by two Palace fans after they attended the first Crystal Palace Beer Festival. There ale has now been sold on Palace match days at Selhurst Park for five years.

Iconic beer Watneys has been revived and is also returning to the festival.

Former Crystal Palace co-owner Stephen Browett said: “The Beer Festival has been a great success since the first edition in 2011. We normally have 2,000-3,000 people come along and it’s a real party.

Local and craft are the focus – last year we had beer from over 30 different London breweries. There’s been a fantastic renaissance of local beers and there’s a real excitement about the different styles and tastes.”

As well as casks full of grog, the day will feature live music from local bands and the FA Cup final on the stadium big screen and concourse TVs.

Tickets cost £10 in advance or £15 on the day. Go to cpfctickets.com/events
