An Addington church has stayed open after two cars crashed into its gates in the span of a week, despite previous reports.
Reverend Debbie Forman of St Mary the Blessed Virgin Church assured residents the doors to the church were indeed still open.
“Despite the damage done to the wall, the church is still running,” she said.
The first crash at the church took place on May 22 and left only a small dent in a wall, but just four days later another vehicle smashed into the same spot.
