If Edridge Road, Masons Avenue or High Street in Croydon are part of your daily drive, you best start looking for another route to get around.
This is because Croydon Council will temporarily close those roads to traffic to facilitate redevelopment works to Leon House,
The order will go into effect on Thursday, July 6 and will remain until the works have been completed.
Other effects of the notice will include the introduction of one-way traffic for the entire duration of the works in those streets or lengths of the three streets specified.
Adjoining streets to those mentioned will also be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress. A ban on turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time - should this be required – will also be in effect.
Cycle lanes and buses could also be suspended for the work.
