Two men and a youth have denied murdering a recruitment consultant who was stabbed to death in a Halloween attack.

Scott Kouebitra, 22, from Sutton, was killed in a flurry of violence which lasted 90 seconds in St George's Field Park in Croydon, south London.

The alleged attackers who fled the scene had donned masks, scarves and balaclavas during the incident on October 31 last year.

Three defendants appeared at the Old Bailey via video link for a plea hearing today (July 6) before trial judge Sarah Munro QC.

Aaron Jackson, 26, Jahliel Rose, 21, and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be identified, spoke to confirm their names and enter not guilty pleas to the charge of murdering football fan Mr Kouebitra.

They also denied wounding Keith Hawker with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on the same day.

Jackson, from Croydon, Rose, of no fixed address, and the youth were remanded in custody to await their trial at the Old Bailey on October 9.
