Another Croydon pub has been put up for sale.
This time around it's The Beehive at Woodside Green that's facing closure.
“We constantly review our estate and from time to time take the decision to sell a business," a spokesperson for the pub said.
"We can confirm we are selling The Beehive and are currently in consultation with the team.”
A staple of the Addiscombe community, people took to social media to voice their displeasure with the decision.
"Another part of history going," one user said.
"SE25 will think that Prohibition has arrived at this rate." another said.
One other facebook user noted that if pubs are to survive in this day and age, they require added support from residents.
"Pubs are closing because we don't use them," he said.
"I go out once a week with my brothers and friends. Two pints, a bottle of Sol and coke for the driver £18.50. Twelve tins of Holstein from Tesco £10.00, and you can smoke or vape at home."
