A woman was rescued by firefighters from a house blaze on Brierley off Field Way in New Addington last night.
Part of the first floor was damaged by fire.
A woman was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. She was suffering from smoke inhalation and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 11.26pm and the fire was under control by 12.16am. Fire crews from New Addington fire station attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
