A man was tasered early this morning after resisting arrest from police.
Police attended a home in Westbourne Road at 5.34am on Thursday, July 27 to carry out an arrest enquiry for a man wanted for a series of assault offences.
A police spokesperson said: "The man resisted arrest, did not respond to instructions and charged towards officers.
"Taser was discharged to subdue the man.
"He was subsequently arrested and taken to a south London police station for questioning."
No officers suffered any injury.
