An air-ambulance was called to Impact House at 2.44pm today (August 14) after scaffolding repordetly fell on a man.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an incident on Edridge Road, Croydon.

“We sent London’s Air Ambulance, an incident response officer and two ambulance crews to the scene.

“We treated a man for back injuries and took him to a South London hospital.”

A spokesperson for the Met police said somehting fell on the man. They also confirmed that the injuries were not life threatening.

A witness said there is "someone hurt at the building site at Impact House."
