A Croydon dance group has won the opportunity to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
The BRIT School was awarded a place at Dance Proms 2017, to perform their contemporary dance routine.
The group of twenty-five, 16-19-year-olds will join 500 young dancers in the biggest national youth dance celebration in November.
The students were selected from hundreds of schools from the UK and across the world, when their video submission caught the attention of the show’s panel of experts.
BRIT School teacher Julia Dark said: “I can't quite believe we have been invited back for the sixth time.
"What an honour. Dance Proms is definitely a highlight in our calendar as a company.
"The event is such a wonderful opportunity for young people to share their skills and passion for dance in such an iconic venue.
"There aren't many young people who can say they've performed at The Royal Albert Hall."
The boys are busy rehearsing in preparation for the event, which will be held on Sunday, November 5.
