The John Fisher School's rugby dominance has been recognised on a national scale.
John Fisher were named the School Team of the Year at the recent National Rugby Awards.
They staved off competition from Warwick, Brighton College, Cranleigh, Howbridge Church of England Junior School, and the founders of the game, Rugby School, to claim the award.
The judges decided that John Fisher's continued success in competing on a circuit as a state school that contained some of the best, most historic, and biggest budget schools in the country, could not go unrecognised.
