The runners-up in last year's Green Guardian household award are holding cycling lessons for families at Winterbourne School on the next two Saturdays.

The De Zoysa family are hoping the days will help people gain confidence in cycling on the road and encourage them to cycle to school. Sponsored by Croydon Council, the event at the school in Winterbourne Road, Thorton Heath, is for children accompanied by adults only and runs from 2pm until 5pm. To book you place call 07904 021 944.
