A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car this morning.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 8.36am to reports of a collision at Purley Way, near the junction with Waddon Road, Croydon.
Officers, the LAS and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a car had collided with a 10-year-old.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
The child has been taken to a south London hospital and his his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
