A school in Purley has continued to grow after it officially opened its new buildings.
Christ Church Primary School went from a one form entry school in 2011 to a two form entry school on October 9 and there was a special guest on hand to ring in the celebrations.
Croydon Mayor Toni Letts opened the building which will be dedicated by Bishop Jonathan Clark.
Head teacher Mary Pike said: "Maintaining the character and identity of the school with its strong, caring community and family feel has been a key part of the school’s work during the expansion period."
