It’s time for another dose of Croydon police going above and beyond their call of duty.
Twice last month police were praised on social media for coming to the aid of the public; once when a school kid needed a helping hand to do up his tie, and another when an elderly lady needed a lift home.
This time it was PC Smith from the New Addington police who came to the rescue of an elderly man.
The photo shows the officer helping the wheelchair-bound man cross the road.
"PC Smith assisting a resident in need," New Addington Police wrote on its twitter.
Fair to say that no good deed should go unnoticed.
