As part of a £1.3 million investment by Croydon Council, street vacuums will be rolled out in New Addington and East Croydon.
In total, 25 of these vacuums will be on Croydon streets by March next year.
Last week the council introduced one in Fieldway, and this month five more will start rounds in central New Addington, around East Croydon station and on Beulah Hill.
“We’re investing a lot of money in this new equipment to make Croydon’s streets even cleaner and tidier for everyone in the borough, and I look forward to even more areas getting these efficient and eye-catching vacuums," Councillor Stuart Collins said.
