The driver of a Ferrari has been arrested after a six-car crash in Croydon last night (November 6).

Police were called to Gravel Hill, Addington at 6.55pm on Monday.

A spokeswoman for the Met Police said: “At the scene a red Ferrari had been in collision a Toyota car which resulted in collisions involving six vehicles, including an HGV.

“Seven people were injured as a result of the collisions, a number of whom were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. 

“None of the injuries were life threatening.”

The driver of the Ferrari, a 35-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for treatment to a minor injury.

He was arrested when he was discharged on suspicion of Dangerous Driving and remains in custody at a south London police station at this time.

Croydon Police investigate. Enquiries continue.

The horn of the ferrari was broken in the crash and remained on while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Croydon Council arrived later to clean up the debris.
