Detectives from the Met’s Flying Squad are still on the hunt for robbers after a cash point was forcibly removed from a wall in the Valley Retail Park over the weekend.
Bricks and debris were sprawled across the ground in Daniell Way after a JCB digger was used to remove the cash point from the side of the store.
A police spokesman said they "were called at around 1.30am on December 31.
"The offenders had fled the scene in another vehicle with the contents in tow.
"The crime scene has now been closed and officers are reviewing forensics from the vehicle and CCTV from the area.
"There have been no arrests at this time and enquiries continue."
