Thornton Heath is getting ready for a bumper end to the month.

On January 27, the second instalment of the CR7 Market is back at Ambassador House in Brigstock Road, while the Trumble Gardens will play host to the area's first ever performance and creative arts festival.

After its launch event in December, the CR7 Market is adding to its repertoire with the addition of an open mic session.

Over at the Trumble Gardens, a free open-air evening of live music, dance performances, spoken word and visual light installations will be on display.

Local artists such as soul singer Dede Davi who worked with Depeche Mode’s Alan Wilder on her last song, as well as established acts like Stush will look to impress the crowd.
