String of thefts has police on high alert
A string of burglaries has plagued Coulsdon recently.
On Wednesday, January 10, the Coulsdon West police ward saw a "sudden spike" in burglaries with seven recorded in the one day.
Comparatively, the entire month of November saw just seven burglaries reported in the Coulsdon West ward.
Coulsdon West Police tweeted out that "the team have visited all of the burglary victims targeted on January 10 to discuss the incidents.
"One of the victims had some very distinctive jewellery taken (pictured above).
"If you seen or have any information regarding the resale of jewellery looking like this, please let us know."
Police are currently investigating the burglaries.
