A "proud" Addiscombe woman is through to the final of BBC's newest singing show.

Amy Goater makes up one third of singing trio The Sundaes, which the group hoping to take out the grand prize of £50,000 as winners of 'All Together now'.

Hosted by comedian Rob Beckett, the show consists of 100 judges and is headlined by Spice Girl Geri Horner, who has already compared the trio to “Baby, Ginger and Scary Spice."

Ms Goater, otherwise known as Strawberry Sundae, has her nan to thank for her singing success.

After being introduced to singing at just four years old, Ms Goater went on to be tutored at Beckenham Dance School in Latin and

Ballroom dance.

From there she teamed up with Vanilla Sundae and Chocolate Sundae to form the trio vying for the BBC show's crown.

The Sundaes, Keris Lea, was excited at the prospect of winning the BBC's show.

"In the past we have turned down other TV opportunities as we didn’t think they were quite right for what we do," she said.

"When we heard about All Together Now it just seemed the perfect fit for an act like us.

"This show gives us a great platform to show what we can do and we are thrilled to have made it to the final.”
