If you go to the Millwall game this weekend, you may spot Ayse Smith collecting sleeping bags.
That is because the dedicated Lions supporter is trying to help homeless veterans by getting them something to keep them warm.
Ayse will be along the Zampa Road gates prior to kick off, as she has been on previous weeks, doing her noble charity work.
She said: “I'm looking for people to donate sleeping bags for homeless veterans. Blankets and quilts are OK too, but sleeping bags are better for them to carry around.
“Hats and gloves are also much appreciated, but more are definitely needed as this cold spell continues. Please have a dig around at home or in your loft.”
She is collecting for UK Homes 4 Heroes, a registered charity for homeless ex-service personal, which was founded in Bermondsey in 2010.
Ayse said: “We would like to thank all the staff and supporters of Millwall FC for your generosity towards your local charity. Together we can make a difference.”
