A new drive-thru coffee shop is set to get the greenlight in Blackheath.
Plans for a Costa Coffee drive-thru in Blackheath Road are to be discussed by councillors at a meeting next week.
The plans are set to be approved subject to conditions.
The Costa would be between the Wicks outlet and the Pets at Home store.
Costa want to rebuild the car park meaning that there will be 125 spaces - 30 less than there currently are.
If agreed, the shop will be open from 6.30am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and until 8pm on a Sunday.
During a consultation, business expressed concerns about increased traffic, noise and pollution should the drive-thru be built, however highways officers have raised no objections to the proposals.
Despite objections that the area does not need another coffee shop, the plans are set to be approved at a meeting on Tuesday, March 13.
