A man is in critical condition following a stabbing in Thornton Heath today (March 11).
Police discovered "a pool of blood" at 7.13am after they rushed to Woodville Road, at the junction with Liverpool Road, after reports of a large fight.
A man, believed to be in his early 20s, turned up at a south London hospital with stab wounds shortly after.
A spokesman from the Met Police said: βIt is unclear at this stage as to whether the stabbing is linked to the earlier reports of fighting. The male is in a critical condition.β
There have been no arrests.
A crime scene remains in place and officers from Croydon are investigating.
