A two car crash has closed a large stretch of a Purley road.
Police were called at 12.44pm to reports of the crash at the junction of Russell Hill and Plough Lane.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and road closures are still in lace between Plough Lane and The Bridle Road.

A police spokeswoman has said that the incident is still ongoing although they did not have any information regarding the injuries sustained by those in the cars.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
"We were called at 12:49pm today to Plough Lane, Purley, to reports of a road traffic collision.
"We sent a motorcycle responder to the scene.
"We assessed one person at the scene but did not take them to hospital."
The spokesman also said that the injured person made their own way to hospital.
