Detectives are appealing for information following a sexual assault on bus 109 travelling from Croydon towards Brixton.
On December 18 at around 5.30pm, a 29-year-old woman boarded the bus at the Whitgift Centre bus stop.
She sat on an aisle seat on the bottom deck of the bus.
A man boarded the bus at West Croydon Station at 5.45 pm and went and stood close to the woman before sexually touching her.
The woman managed to get out of her seat and left the bus at the Broad Green Avenue stop.
The suspect got off the bus at the same stop but went in a different direction.
The suspect is described as an Asian man in his 30s, 5ft 8ins tall, short dark hair and a short beard and moustache.
Police say he was wearing a grey hooded jumper with white writing on the front which said: “Made for fitness” and dark tracksuit bottoms.
He was also wearing dark coloured trainers with white soles and was carrying an orange carrier bag.
If you have any information or can identify the man, call police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
