A man who attempted to hide drugs between his butt cheeks has been jailed.

Ernest Fourlagawo, 28, and Benjamin Fabrice, 26, of Warren Avenue, South Croydon were driving in he Banstead area late last year when they were pulled over by an unmarked police car.

After discovering that the car had no insurance, Fourlagawo was arrested.

A drugs dog then performed a search of the vehicle and indicted to the front passenger seat, where Fabrice had been sat.

Officers inspected the seat, where an oily substance could be seen, which officers suspected to be Vaseline.

Both Fourlagawo and Fabrice were taken into custody so a strip search could be performed.

When officers conducted the search of Fabrice, multiple wraps of crack cocaine and heroin were found between his butt cheeks.

After pleading guilty at Guildford Crown Court yesterday (May 2) for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, the pair were each jailed for four-and-a-half years.

Fourlagawo also received six points on his licence, for driving a vehicle with no insurance.

PC Elliott Hartley who is part of the Op Viking team said: “I am pleased about the sentences handed down to these two men.

"It sends a clear message to others out there who supply harmful drugs to vulnerable drug addicts in our community, when we catch you, you will face a considerable time behind bars.”
