A bookies in South Norwood was robbed earlier today.
Police were called at about 11.30am on May 8 to reports of an armed robbery in Portland Road.
A Met spokeswoman said: "It is believed a man entered the store and demanded money, while threatening the staff with a concealed gun, before fleeing the scene.
"There are no reported injuries and a crime scene is in place."
Witnesses have said that the shop which was victim of the armed robbery was the William Hill nearest Albert Road.
There have so far been no arrests and enquiries continue.
