Nothing is exactly the same at the British Home Summer Fayre and this year will be no different.

In previous years, The British Home in Crown Lane, Streatham has hosted everything from talent shows to petting zoos.

Last year the theme of the event was garden gnome, but this time around people are asked to bring out their inner Tarzan and Jane with a jungle theme.

People aged over five are asked to come dressed as your favourite character from the Greatest Showman and enter the fancy dress competition followed by surprise children’s party.

For those under five, the jungle theme party will be starting at 10.30am and will be run by Norbury Hill Cubs Nursery which has raised more than £9000 for the home in the past three years.

The fayre will take place on Saturday, June 2 and run from midday until 5pm.

Entrance will be £2 per adult and free for children.
