A new store with a focus on healthy living has opened in Purley.

Holland & Barrett opened in Brighton Road on Wednesday (May 23) and its manager, Renata Szczypta, looked forward to creating an identity in the community.

“This is an exciting time for Purley and we look forward to welcoming existing and new customers in store to try out the latest products and concepts in the health food, beauty and sports categories,” she said.

As well as food catering for vegetarians, vegans and coeliac, there will also be a 'scent station' where customers can try out aromatherapy diffusers and candles.
