A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon after a young man was fatally stabbed in South Norwood.
The teenager will appear at Croydon Magistrates Court today, on June 1, after he was remanded into custody by police.
Kelva Smith, 20, was found in Albert Road with stab wounds and was later pronounced dead at the scene on March 8.
Two boys have also been charged with the same offences – Tyronne Farquharsan, 19, of Archer Road, and a 14-year-old boy who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
The 14-year-old has an additional charge against him for attempted wounding.
In addition, two other people have been remanded into custody and will be on trial at the Old Bailey on September 10 later this year.
