A charity football league has appealed for help on the eve of its trials.
Selsdon Little League is run on a volunteer basis and Morgan Muslu, one of its organisers, highlighted one team in particular that showed exactly what the game is about.
"We would like to congratulate the Arrows, a newly formed team who on Saturday, May 12, won their under 10s league in the first attempt," he said.
"The league was won dramatically by a last day deciding match where the Arrows prevailed over the Panthers by defeating them 1-0."
He said that for anyone who wished to lend a helping hand they should Mik Simmond, Dave Lawrey or Bob Clewley via the Selsdon Little League website (selsdonlittleleague.com).
