Police are once again appealing for information a week after a cyclist was left fighting for his life in a hit and run.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at 6.19am on Saturday, June 23 to reports of a crash between a car and a cyclist on Whitehorse Road at the junction with Northbrook Road in Selhurst.
The 60-year-old victim was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The car – which was a black 2 series BMW – did not stop at the scene.
DS Jo Densham from the Met’s Road and Transport Policing Command said: “After one week, the cyclist sadly remains in a very serious condition in hospital. I am urging the driver to get in touch and help us build a picture of what happened in the lead up to this incident.”
Officers are appealing for the driver of the BMW to come forward. They are also asking any witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Catford on 020 8285 1574.
