Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in south Croydon in which a pedestrian was hit by a bin lorry.
Paramedics and an air ambulance was called to the scene on Cherry Tree Green after the incident, shortly before midday on Wednesday (July 11).
Despite their efforts, emergency services were unable to save the 63-year-old man.
The victim's next of kin has been informed and police are waiting for them to formally identify him.
The bin lorry stopped at the scene after the incident, and so far, no arrests have been made.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision, at 11.49 on Wednesday.
