A 28-year-old woman has been critically injured after being struck by a car in Crystal Palace.
The driver of the car failed to stop after hitting the woman on Friday (July 27) evening on Hamlet Road near the junction with Maberley Road.
The injured woman remains in critical condition at a south London hospital.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.15pm and police have asked anyone with information to call 101 and quote CAD7076/27Jul.
A police statement added: “Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision occur, or who may have dash cam or mobile phone footage of the incident.”
No arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing.
