Crystal Palace have re-entered the race to sign Irish hotshot Dave Mooney.
Mooney, who was the eircom League's top scorer last season, is eager to leave current club Longford Town with his likely destination being across the Irish Sea.
The 23-year-old turned down a lucrative move to Selhurst Park in November - but reports in Ireland have indicated that Eagles chief Neil Warnock will resurrect his interest in Mooney during the January transfer window.
Irish giants Cork City are also in the running for the front man, but Palace have been installed as favourites for his signature.
