Crystal Palace skipper Mark Hudson has indicated he could be close to signing a new Eagles deal.
Hudson is out of contract in the summer and would be allowed to leave Selhurst Park on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Palace boss Neil Warnock revealed last week that he had contacted Hudson's representatives with a view to clarifying the defender's future.
And Hudson has hinted he will be offered a new deal by the club and insists it remains his intention to say at Selhurst Park.
"Neil has mentioned a new contract it so hopefully we can sort something out, said Hudson.
"I want to stay at the club - everything is going really well for me at the moment.
" I'm the captain and I'm very happy so hopefully something can get sorted out."
