An Upper Norwood road has been branded a "nightmare" after the latest in a series of accidents saw a car crash into a house.
The latest crash in Grange Road happened just before 8pm Monday night.
Toby Walton, who lives in Grange Hill Road at the junction of Grange Road, said there have been four crashes in the last three weeks.
And last summer a car skidded perilously close to his two-year-old daughter Lola.
"The road's a nightmare. I've had a neighbour that has to replace their wall every three months or so," said the dad-of-two.
He added: "Last August I was taking my two-year-old daughter to the park and she was slightly ahead of me. I heard a skid and a car went past me and rode up on the kerb just missing her.
"I'd say the road is an accident waiting to happen, but accidents happen here all of the time. It's just for the grace of God that no one's been killed."
Mr Walton says he has approached Upper Norwood Councillor Pat Ryan about the problem and residents are in the process of getting a petition together to present to Croydon Council.
"It's a residential road and I think it should have a 20-mile-an-hour speed limit and traffic calming measures."
