CROYDON COUNCIL THE CROYDON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2008.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on the 25 February 2008 made the above mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce:-
(a) waiting restrictions;
(i) "at any time" throughout the week in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(ii) between 8.00am and 6.30pm Monday to Saturday inclusive in a length of Mill Lane specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice;
(iii) between 8.00am and 9.30pm and between 2.30pm and 4.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive in a length of Morland Road specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice;
(b) loading restrictions "at any time" throughout the week in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 4 to this Notice.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 3 March 2008, of the Croydon (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2007 (and of any Orders which have previously amended that Order) can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at the Enquiry Counter, "One Stop" Facility, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.

4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Parking Services, Environment, Culture and Public Protection Department, 9th Floor, South West Corner, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, CR9 1EN.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
