FORGET Kylie and Danii Minogue, Little Chalfont's very own sister act Charlie and Sarah Peters showed they can organise, promote and star in their own pop concert.

But these were sisters who, unlike the old pop song, were definitely not just doing it for themselves.

In fact, the girls raised £344 for Chesham's Heritage House special school after performing a charity concert in their garden in Burtons Lane on Friday.

Proud mum Gillian praised Charlie, 15, and Sarah, 11, saying: "It went splendidly. We raised a huge figure for kids putting on a concert in their garden. We had about 35 people there, including children and adults, and it was a very sunny evening."

The girls and seven pals belted out hits from Atomic Kitten, S Club 7, Liberty X and other chart toppers to backing tracks, while live musicians entertained the crowd in the interlude.

The Peters family have friends with children at Heritage House in Cameron Road.

Charlie, who has been raising money for the school for several years came up with the concert idea.

Gillian added: "She studies drama and she's also quite a talented pianist and singer, and she loves doing shows."
